Thank you all for an absolutely
incredible race weekend and for making the 2026 SudburyROCKS!!!
Race our biggest event yet. 2297 registered, — and
such an outstanding success!
The energy, the community
spirit, the cheers, the hugs, and those unforgettable
finish-line moments—we loved every second of it.
Whether this was your very first SudburyROCKS!!! event
or one of many, we hope you have left inspired, proud,
and already looking forward to next year… because
we certainly are!
Together we raised an estimated
$75,000 in support of the Health Sciences North Foundation,
and donations are still coming in! Final fundraising totals
and proceeds from the event will be shared in the coming
weeks. Participants can continue to fundraise online at
Raceroster until June 14.
A very special THANK YOU
to our incredible volunteers—this event is only
possible because of you! From early morning start to finish-line
cheers, course support, race kit pickup, water stations,
and everything in between, your time, energy, and heart
made this event happen. You are appreciated beyond words.
Race photos, updates, and
updated HSN fundraising information will be added to the
website shortly, so please keep checking back.
From all of us—thank
you for being part of the SudburyROCKS!!! Race!

The Lake Laurentian 10K loop is one of Greater
Sudbury’s most beloved hiking and running trails.
Along this route lies a stunning 360º lookout that
will be renamed Perdue Peak.
From the top of this ridge,
visitors can enjoy sweeping views of the cityscape—a
favourite spot for Vince and his late wife, Lise Perdue,
who was his soulmate and running partner.
The Nickel District Conservation
Foundation will install signage and a commemorative plaque
in honour of Vince and Lise, supported by donations that
will ensure the long-term maintenance of the trail and
the memorial.

I’m
starting a 6 week trail running club. Featuring
a new trail every week.
Our first run kicks off Monday, June 15th
at 6:00 PM!
We’ll be leaving
from 1127 Bancroft Dr for a relaxed 10 km trail
run, lasting approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
This will be a group-paced run with both a lead
runner and a sweep, so nobody gets left behind.
We’ll stop at every lookout along the way
to take in the views and enjoy the experience together.
Hoping to see a
huge turnout for the first one! If you’ve
been thinking about coming, this is your sign —
jump off the fence and let’s SKODEN!!
