Spartan Beast Blue Mountain 2024

Spartan Beast Blue Mountain 2024. I felt very strong in the obstacles, which is where I made all of my moves. But my legs were upset with me, so my running took a bit of a hit (I think the back-to back-to back hockey games had something to do with that hahaha).
Nothing fuels me more than Zoey, Lesley, and Matthew watching and cheering me on, so them finding me at the 18km mark, beaten down and in the pain cave, gave me the extra umph I needed to finish strong (check last slide to see what I'm talking about).
The best part of the event was watching Zoey run the 1.5km Kids Spartan. So proud of her for committing and training for challenges like this, and I'm proud of us for setting a good example for Zoey (and one day Matthew) to follow. The apples don't fall far from this tree.

The Onaping Falls Nordic Ski Club invites you to join us in a fun fall event at the Windy Lake Trails.
October 20, 2024

9:00 am Hike/Run Start
11:30 am Bike Start
5km, 10km or 15km
After the race enjoy hot chocolate, s’mores by the bonfire at the finish line.

 

 

Beauty of a morning for this event at the Hike/Run/Bike Onaping Falls Nordic Ski Club to check out the new trail. The trail addition is amazing and looks like it’s been there for years. I can’t wait for some snow! Sunshine, trails, trees, friends, campfire and treats…it doesn’t get much better!

Run to Remember - Nov 3 2024
Participants can choose to run/walk 1 km, 5 km or 10 km virtually (from your location of choice) or in the nature trails of the Collège Boréal Sudbury campus. All participants will receive a t-shirt and a medal.
