| We've
been receiving a lot of questions about the 2022
SudburyROCKS!!! Marathon.
First and foremost, we want to apologize
for our lack of communication. We are still hosting
the event, but again this year in a virtual setting.
Our original plan was to host an in-person event
this year, but circumstances both pandemic and non-pandemic
have made it difficult to get everyone together.
We have very high hopes for the 2023 event.
The sudburyrocksmarathon.com
website is currently under construction as volunteers
update the site. While many pages are updated, there
may still be outdated information on some pages.
Check back often for the latest details.

BOSTON MARATHON
MONDAY, APRIL 18, 2022

The126th running of the Boston
Mararthon will take place this Monday April 18th. There
is at least one runner from Sudbury participating. We
wish her well. See all run related information at the
site below. The race is also televised locally from Boston
and is also avaiable in Canada through TSN. Check your
channel guide.

Workout
|
Thursday
Night Lights! Adjusting workout schedule to accommodate
Track North, LU and LU alumni athletes for a rare Thursday
night workout. Guest appearance from our Whistler Track
North single athlete enclave (Crocks). Progress pace run
(5 min HM pace, 10 min Tempo, 10 min at 10k pace) on Cambrian
College loop.

Laurentian Varsity Athletics
Awards Ceremony!
Big night for Laurentian’s
Cross-Country and Indoor Track & Field Teams at the
Laurentian Varsity Athletics Awards Ceremony!
Kristen Mrozewski and Marvin Zongo both
won LU Rookie of the Year Awards. Marvin won Male Athlete
of the Year. Paul Sagriff won the prestigious Voyageur
Award for his contributions to athletics, the university
and the community. And the LU XC and Track & Field
coaches were awarded the Coaches of the Year award. We
also recognized our graduating athletes and trainers.
Congratulations everyone on a fantastic season!
