It was a cool and windy
day at Wiky this year. Neil Phipps won but he was challenged
by MSS high schooler Micheal Nevin. Todd Withers was
third and a local Wiky highschooler was 4th. I was 5th,
finally beating the 40 minute barrier with Frank Lesk
right behind me. Frank amazes me, he beat his last years
time by a minute! Sara McIlraith was top female with
Laura Anderson and Lisa Stafford close behind. The two
mommy's, Laurel and Liz Taillifer had great runs as
well, both finishing top 3 in their age group. I'm sure
you will have the race results shortly. A good day for
the Sudbury and Manitoulin Rocks runners.
